General Rules of Discipline

  • Students are urged to contribute to the high tone of the college by their manners and general behavior. Hence for the smooth running of the college, no student should bring the college liable to prove a source of disturbance.
  • As far as posture, cleanliness, silence, politeness, honesty, attention to work and respect to teachers and companions are concerned the college should be looked upon as a place of reverence and discipline.
  • Absolute silence must be maintained at all places the teaching hour whether it is the library, the laboratories, computer room, the general assembly or on way to and from the classrooms.
  • It is compulsory to speak in English in the school premises in order to facilitate the students to use the medium of instruction. They should maintain a high standard in their own conversation.
  • The school does not accept responsibility for the loss of books, money, stationery etc. Each student is responsible for his/her own things. Bringing of valuables to the school is discouraged. If the articles are brought for genuine reasons, they must be handed over to the Principal / Counselor or teachers and the same may be collected after the school.
  • In the absence of the teachers, the class perfect assumes the responsibility for order and discipline of the class. He/she should fulfill his/her duty with loyalty and impartiality.
  • Students who are given responsibility should carry it out dutifully and impartially and in accordance with the order of the Principal or the Teacher deputed by her. They should consider it as a service to the college and to their fellow students.
  • Students can always approach to Principal individually for any reasonable or sympathetic consideration but not collectively.
  • No student may take private tuition in any subject from any member of the college staff without the written permission of the Principal. All such tuitions must be discontinued one week before the examinations.
  • At the first bell all must form “lines” immediately for the assembly where they pray in common and move silently to their classrooms.
  • The General Assembly is the most important part of the school day. Every student should be present at it to begin the day, pray to God, and listen to the important announcements.
  • They should be friendly, courteous and co-operative towards other students of the school treating everyone with respect and conducting themselves in a dignified manner.
  • All must come to school in time neatly dresses with lesson well prepared and homework done. Text books, exercise books and material for drawing, S.U.P.W., art craft should be brought to college according to the day’s routine.
  • Student must keep their classroom and the college compound spotlessly clean using the bins provided for waste paper and rubbish.
  • Students are not allowed to visit staff room without prior permission either of the Principal or the teachers.
  • Students reportedly coming late or forgetting to bring books or coming without proper uniform may be punished.

There are also occasions for the parents to let the teacher know that they do care for his/her effort and the progress of their child. They can always help the progress of the institution by way of suggestion, guidance and specially by their co-operation and collaboration.
